August 14, 1981 ~ September 27, 2005

Today marks the 26th birthday of Teddy, who left us too soon to a car accident. Teddy serves as a gentle reminder everyday of how short and precious life can be. Not a day goes by that we don't think of, or miss, Ted. Whether it be cooking "Burgies" on the grill, or just hanging out, we'll always miss the good times we had. We'll always remember Teddy for his smile, his passion for life, and his ability to live in the moment. If there's any lesson I learned from this tragedy, it's to be as giving as you can to your friends and family. Life's too short to hold grudges or let the little things weigh you down. Anyway, Teddy, your in our hearts and our prayers, and we think about you and miss you everyday. I guess if it's true that your really in a better place, then we're just selfish for wishing we could still have you here hanging out. It's a struggle to put into words what you meant to us, but the lessons we learned from you will be with us forever. I'm not sure if this is exactly the most appropriate medium to post this, but it's kind of my way of letting people know to just cherish the moment. Throw away the BS arguments you have. In the end, all you have is friends and family. And I've been blessed with some of the best friends and family a person can have. Unfortunately, it took a tragedy for me to realize this, so maybe I'm hoping to pass along what I learned through Ted. Thanks for taking time to read this. It's just a little way for me to remember Ted, and pass along that lesson I've learned. And thanks again, Teddy. You're a great friend, and we think about you and truly miss you everyday. Just save a spot for us up there. I think some of us might need a good recommendation.
